DESCRIPTION

THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. A near new Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht with all the options, serviced and prepared ready for a new owner.

At the time of being built, the owners had dreams of adventures in the Pacific Islands and further afield, so the options and custom additions were made with this in mind. When you plan on adventures like this, you really can't take short cuts with the selections when setting up for two-handed cruising. It all starts in the heart of the boat with the upgraded MAN V12 1800HP engines being the engines of choice. When you couple this with the Twin Disc hydraulic bow and stern thrusters it gives you EJS (Joysticks) for easy slow-speed maneuvering, EPS (Station Hold) to keep you in position while you fish, relax or prepare the mooring lines. The SeaKeeper Gyro stabiliser will take the lumps and bumps out of the sea. The optional fuel tank brings the total fuel to 8,500 litres to give you maximum range. If it's quick you want then at a sprint of approx 32 knots will have you covering some ground or if you are want to slow speed passage cruise, then your range will have you in the Pacific Islands or New Zealand with plenty in reserve. To make a trip like this, you will want to do it in pure comfort at the helm. The vast flybridge area is absolute luxury with two high end helm seats that have you perched up in front of the vast array of Garmin navigation systems. The Garmin systems are upgraded with all the features you need for day to day cruising, hardcore fishing or day and night passage making.

The luxurious interior has also been optioned with comfort and space in mind. The master cabin Presidential layout located midship is opulent, classy and private. The two guest's rooms do not missout either with both having grand ensuites fitted with rain showers and loads of natural light in all cabins and bathrooms from the huge hull windows.

The saloon level has an amazing feel with leather-appointed lounge and dinette that seats six in comfort. On the saloon level is a galley any chef would love to prepare a meal in. The well appointed galley is fitted with Miele appliances, a large amount of draw refrigeration, loads of storage and ZIP boiling, cold and sparkling water. All this is laid out to be a part of the entertaining space when required via the large aft-facing hopper window out to the mezzanine level.

Step out from the saloon/galley on to the mezzanine, and you will see why this popular Riviera model has set the benchmark for the Sports Motor Yacht market. Off to the port side of the mezzanine is a staircase to take you down to the conveniently located day head, utility room, laundry and through a watertight door to the heart of the boat "The engine room". Back up on the mezzanine level you can entertain, watch TV, lounge around facing fore or aft on the custom lounge, open out the two folding teak high gloss tables to dine for lunch or dinner. Only a couple of steps down you have a cockpit set up for reef or game fishing, and another user-friendly space with 2 x electric BBQ's, sink and large drinks fridge all on the level that becomes so versatile. As an extension to the cockpit is a large hydraulic swim platform wrapped with removable S/S rails which makes for a great water sports platform or somewhere to store a 2nd tender or jet ski. From the cockpit, you can walk up the broad side decks with ease to the bow that is appointed with loads of deck locker storage, a custom tender package which is launched with ease via the 550kg hydraulic crane. With the tender launched the vast foredeck is another area to utilise for entertaining. Turn on the foredeck stereo grab your favourite drink and watch the sun go down. If the tide has you facing the wrong way, make your way back down the port side and enter the saloon via the pantograph door to the saloon and head up to the flybridge aft deck where the L-shaped lounge, fold-out gloss teak table, drinks fridge and ice maker are. The view from here is spectacular.

Opportunity awaits the quick with this magnificent boat recently having its annual upkeep, so it is ready for a new owner.
