Mariner is a brand that has stood the test of time! Their vessels have proven themselves with reliability and their quality of workmanship.
This tidy 1980 Mariner 31 Flybridge motor cruiser is a classic example of one of the most popular Mariners produced. The layout is spacious with the aft cockpit, saloon and galley all on one level allowing everyone to be part of the action. In fact, this includes the skipper as well because she has twin helm positions; on the flybridge and the saloon level.
The spacious flybridge features a bimini and clears for all weather protection and particularly good visibility from the helm.
She’s fitted with a GME 27Mhz marine transceiver, Navico and Northstar Depth Sounders, Navman GPS and a Sharp & Co Sea Pilot. The ground tackle incorporates a plough anchor, 8mm gal chain and 16mm silver rope driven by a Muir electric windlass.
In the galley she features a 2-burner LPG stove, stainless steel sink, Engel refrigeration and a microwave. 240v power is supplied by a 1200 watt Inverter for those essentials in life like the your coffee machine and the microwave.
The forward cabin has a comfortable double berth, enclosed toilet and shower, plus plenty of clothes storage. Further accommodation is provided by the convertible dinette and saloon lounge, which means that the whole family is catered for when overnighting.
The main engines are Mercruiser 255hp petrol engines mated to Borg Warner transmissions and shaft drives. Her owner has maintained them well. A complete service history is available to the serious prospective new owner. She was surveyed in October 2011 for insurance purposes and came through without any major issues.
This boat is ideal for family weekends, fishing trips or just a getaway for two!
