READY TO HIT THE HIGH SEAS - Brand New Standing Rigging and Mast Refurbishment !
Make an offer!
The Swarbick 40 is a proven design that offers a sleek hydrodynamic hull built for the harsh elements that can be experienced on the open ocean.
Since her launch in 1997 her cruising adventures have seen her plot courses from Freemantle all the way to the tip of Australia and back. Her extensive fit out offers everything the cruising sailor and companions would need to enjoy extended stays and remain safe whilst doing so! In fact her appointments are extremely comfortable, her tankage very large for her size and her auxiliary engine incredibly reliable.
Having only two loving owners since new, both have left nothing to chance and kept her very well maintained and stocked with spares. A full service history is available. Her rig is well organised for short-handed sailing with all lines running back to the cockpit. Fitted with a standard main sail and a roller furling headsail, Azure’s fractional rig also supports a Storm Jib and Spinnaker.
The teak laid cockpit deck is protected by a dodger and bimini and offers good comfortable seating for all aspects of your passage making. She has also just had a new bimini and dodger fitted, together with a new set of house and start batteries !
Her electronics include Chartplotter, sounder and Autopilot along with a VHF Marine Transceiver. Of course, she also has wind and depth instruments.
The 4 tonne lead keel (fin with bulb) draws 2.13m (7 feet) and offers very good open water stability. Safety equipment includes ample lifejackets, 4-person liferaft, DanBuoy, lifering, EPIRB, automatic bilge pumps with float switches. There’s also no chance you’ll run out of power with a set of solar panels and a DuoGen wind generator!
Azure has an extensive inventory and a well maintained finish that will impress you.
