DESCRIPTION
Leilani is a 2009 Hanse 400e listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour.
The 400 was the most successful model from the German manufacturer to date and this is the sought after 'e'poxy version - lighter (by 500kgs!), stronger, virtually osmosis proof for life.
Hanse's are easy, quick, responsive, have stunning looks and are very well crafted (the oversized keel bolts are a striking indication of the engineering involved). This generation 400 was arguably the quickest 40 footer Hanse have built yet still offering that superior blend of ease of handling and cruising comfort. This is the ultimate all-rounder. Being a late model 400 she features twin wheel steering.
Leilani is the three double cabin layout with an impressive owners' cabin forward. The head and shower is generous with a solid opening shower screen. There is a self-tacking headsail, spare larger headsail, gennaker, and main by Norths. Instrumentation is by Simrad with a new chart plotter at the nav station in 2018.
Standing rigging was replaced new in just 2021 and Leilani was last anti-fouled in May 2022.
