'Mustang Sally' a 2004 Hunter 44DS, is now proudly and exclusively for sale with the team at YOTI Queensland.
This very well-presented and specified yacht is your ticket to cruising the Australian Coast and Pacific in style. The Deck Saloon offers an elegant and extremely comfortable living space, with panoramic views and great headroom, which brings light and ventilation into the boat's interior.
The swing-out companionway doors allow for save and easy access to the interior, with newly upholstered saloon settees and a large high gloss table to accommodate a large crew in comfort. The well laid out and spacious galley even has a pantry, great for liveaboards and blue water cruisers. To port is the extensive chartable and the main head with enclosed shower, with dual access doors to master cabin and saloon.
This vessel has the desirable two cabin layout with the master cabin aft, occupying the full width of the vessel. It features a centrally mounted queen berth, seat, hanging lockers and deep drawers for extended cruising. The welcoming guest cabin forward features a double Pullman berth to port, a hidden washbasin/vanity, plenty storage and own head with shower. The saloon table can be lowered to form two additional berths.
Cockpit access from dock or tender is fabulous, with walk-through transoms, fold-down helmsman seat and folding steering wheel that add to the safety and comfort of the crew.
The mainsail traveller is out of harm's way, on a stainless-steel Targa bar over the cockpit. This bar also carries the bimini and the fill- in canvas to the sprayhood. Hunter yachts have the innovative B & R rig, with swept-back spreaders and no backstay - allowing for a big roached fully battened mainsail. Smartly located rope clutches, self-tailing winches and line stowage help to keep her cockpit clear and safe and allow these vessels to be sailed shorthanded.
Her hull is a mix of solid laminate and balsa core, with Kevlar reinforcement, and a structural grid and bulkheads, bonded in place, to ensure structural strength and integrity.
She comes with a 54HP Yanmar, a 6KVA Fisher Panda Genset, full reverse-cycle air conditioning, Bose sound system, wind generator, solar, davits, tender and the list goes on. Mustang Sally has been just polished (Jan'21) and is ready for her next adventure.
