'Mista Gybe', a 2007 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54 Deck Saloon is now proudly and exclusively for sale with the YOTI team in Queensland.
This vessel is special. Her presentation is superb, and she has a fabulous autonomous blue water cruising specification: Generator ( new 2020), Watermaker, large capacity fridges/freezers, full air conditioning, electric Genoa furler, In mast furling mainsail and very large, multi-level cockpit with full bimini and sides and more.
Mista Gybe has a big boat feeling, with a truly impressive and light saloon, dedicated gourmet galley, full-width owners' cabin and two guest cabins, all ensuite, forward. A removable centre partition allows the forward cabins to join into a single large cabin with island berth.
She can however still be sailed shorthanded, thanks to her furling sails and bow thruster. All her control lines and sheets lead back to the electric winches in the cockpit, from where all the sail handling can safely be done.
Mista Gybe, initially named 'French Connection', was commissioned and delivered to its first owner in September 2007 and fully equipped for extended Bluewater cruising. The yacht was however only very lightly used and professionally maintained before being purchased by her current owner and brought to Queensland three years ago.
Since arriving in Queensland, Mista Gybe has had a major refurbishment, having been repainted, brand new sails fitted with new sheets and halyards, a new 7.5 Kva Onan generator installed. Also, all batteries were replaced along with a new battery monitoring system, an additional Inverter, a new Raymarine VHF radio and AIS Transceiver, additional Fisher and Paykel Drawer fridges, new Bimini, Dodger and Cover system, new cockpit cushions, new carpet throughout and new Bed linen and Covers. Most of this work has only just been completed. The vessel was serviced, antifouled including propspeed to her Max-Prop 3 blade feathering propeller in August 2020.
The vessel will take you on your next adventure in luxury and style and is available at a fraction of the cost to equip a new yacht to the same high and comprehensive standard.
Please contact Robert Vrind for further information on this unique vessel and to book an inspection at the Boatworks, Gold Coast Marine Precinct, Queensland.
