Australia’s premier luxury boat builder, Maritimo, has reported an “excellent” result at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
“We have achieved our best result for three years,” said Maritimo Marketing Director Luke Durman. “It was an excellent performance from our entire sales team.”
Dealers from around Australia and New Zealand along with contingents from the United States and Singapore attended the Show.
Mr Durman said sales had been achieved across the range of Motoryachts, Sports Cabriolets, Aegean Flybridges and Offshore Convertibles.
“Our new models – the C47 Sports Cabriolet with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, M53 Motoryacht and 470 Offshore Convertible – attracted particular interest,” he said.
“Sanctuary Cove is a strong gauge for the market and it has certainly picked up. We are looking forward to the Sydney Boat Show at the end of July where we will launch our 440 Offshore Convertible, our second IPS boat.”
Mr Durman said the 440 Offshore Convertible would be built to the same detailed standards as the C47 with positive buoyancy tanks in the engine compartment.
“We expect that this boat will also achieve the Volvo Penta IPS Certified Installation,” he said.
