Superyacht Australia Stand Draws Attention at SCIBS 2012

Superyacht Australia branding certainly is standing out at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show with naming rights for the Superyacht Australia Pavilion.

On day one and two of the Show, their stand inside the pavilion was also attracting a number of visitors keen to hear about the key superyacht cruising destinations and services the various superyacht clusters around Australia can provide.  The fact Superyacht Australia has clusters in Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania and Western Australia means superyacht owners can be offered seamless service though out Australia and access information about these providers readily on the national portal

Superyacht Australia is certainly driving home the importance of the superyacht sector and government are now recognising the economic value of a Superyacht cruising Australian waters. This was evident at the 2nd Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference held earlier in the week with Tourism Australia, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and Customs and Border Protection all understanding the need to removing barriers to attract more superyachts to cruise in Australia waters.
