Hanse yachts have a lot to live up to with their new 40 footer the Hanse 415. Its predecessor the 400 was streets ahead of its time and enjoyed the longest run and most sales of any 40 foot yacht in Australia.
Husam Dajani from Manly admired the Hanse 355 on Friday at the Boat Show and bought the winning ticket number 3849 just 2 days before the draw.
Mark Woolf, CEO, says “The team at CYCA are delighted to support this fundraiser for Bear Cottage; the initiative is very relevant to our members”
Windcraft Principal Peter Hrones said, "I've come to realise that our owners not only buy the Hanse Yachts for their stylish looks and sailing performance, but for the lifestyle and opportunities that ownership of a Hanse Yacht brings."
As with all Hanses, the self-tacking jib helps define the boat’s character. Social sailors who may be put off by the busy-ness of tacking headsails will be astounded by the way this boat handles under sail.
On deck all lines lead aft offering clean uncluttered deck. With standard electric winches and a self-tacking headsail; you have a 49 foot yacht you can easily sail single handed.
